What Are Boards? - DeeDee Creative

Pinterest Boards are like folders. They are a place in which to save your favourite Pins according to topic. You can save Pins related to your interests, business ideas, future plans and more.

Your followers are able to follow individual boards within an account rather than follow an entire account. This is particularly relevant when an account doesn’t show Pins of real interest but maybe one or two of their boards do.

It’s not necessary to have loads of boards, just create boards that are relevant to your niche or target market.

Keeping your Boards up to date and active is also important so that your followers are always seeing new and relevant content.

What’s great about Boards is you can make them:

Public Boards

These are the boards you create that are visible for all to see and pin from.

Group Boards

Group Boards are a board that is open to other collaborators. Members of a Group Board are able to Pin relevant content of their own (or others) and in turn, they will share content from the Group Board to other Boards.

Secret Boards

The great thing about Secret Boards is only you can see them unless you invite others to your board.
