There isn’t much point in having a website or blog if it’s never available for other people to view. When your follower or ideal client searches and comes across your site, takes a look and it runs slow, takes ages to load or doesn’t load at all, you will lose that visitor forever. An excellent first impression is vital. This is why I believe Siteground is the best host for your website.
Web hosting is essentially a service that stores all the data from your site and delivers the requested information when anyone online tries to access one of your pages. You have the option to choose between shared hosting, or dedicated web hosting where you have your own server.

Advantages of Hosting with SiteGround
Performance and customer service are the two most important components you need to consider when deciding on a web host.
Performance
Performance may be just one facet of your business’ success, but it can be considered the most important. After all, your potential clients can’t see what amazing products, services, and content you offer if they can’t access your site.
There is nothing worse than a website that is slow or is almost always down for whatever reason.
My own personal Service Status Updates show that my sites were up 100% of the time for the past year. That’s exceptional! My previous host could never claim anything like this.
Quality Support
Quality support is equally important. As a customer, you may sometimes require help. Many of us aren’t entirely tech-savvy, and the ins and outs of the essential fundamentals of our websites might be more than we can comprehend. The quality customer service from SITEGROUND is so valuable.
When I first signed with SITEGROUND, I had no idea how to transfer my website from my previous host to my new host. After an online chat with one of their customer service superstars, my site was moved without any problem. And they did it for free!
SITEGROUND offers 24/7 ticket, live chat, and phone support. So wherever you are in the world, no matter what time it is, there will be someone at SITEGROUND who can help you or answer your questions.
I’ve used the live chat a number of times for various reasons, (domain transfer, upgrading my account, downgrading my account etc.) and have found the guys on the other end of the chat extremely helpful and very patient. If I didn’t understand their instructions, they would merely step in and fix my issues themselves. For someone not particularly tech-savvy, that is precisely what I need.
Hosting Plans
SITEGROUND Offers three main hosting plans – Startup, Grow Big and Go Geek. Each one comes with different features. Check out the features below and choose the plan that best suits your needs.
While SITEGROUND may not be the cheapest option out there, it is indeed one of the best in the business when it comes to their quality of performance and service.
Knowledge Database
SITEGROUND offers an extensive knowledge base with hundreds of useful articles. While all the information is there if you know what to search for, some of the terms I was using failed to send me in the right direction.
In Conclusion
SITEGROUND offers enough hosting plans and services to suit every type of user. Whether you are a new or small-time blogger, a big-time business or a web developer, SITEGROUND is the perfect host for you. Click To Tweet

Very interersting post. I am currently considering to change the hosting provider because currently my site is too slow. It is still hosted by WA. Do you know how the two compare to each other?
Hi Juan. I haven’t used the WA website tool at all so I really can’t compare. I already had my websites set up and hosted through Siteground before I joined WA. But honestly, the speed of your website is so important. If someone visits your website and it takes too long to load, they will often just leave. People online aren’t very patient, so I would highly recommend considering switching your hosting.
I agree. What is in your view a generally accepted average loading time?
It’s suggested that pages should take no more than 3 seconds to load but a lot of factors can come into this, not just your host. Factors such as image size, browser caching and more. If you use Google Analytics you can check your site performance via Behaviour > Site Speed > Overview. A great tool I use is https://website.grader.com/ It’s free to use. Try it.
Great, thanks!
That is some darn impressive uptime. That’s very reassuring.
Does Siteground offer multiple hosting points for people that have sites that are targeted to other continents? One of my sites is specifically geared toward China and hosting in the USA tends to be quite a bit slower than I would like it to be.
Hi Craig, I know, they guarantee 99% and I got 100%. Even 99% is awesome. I believe Siteground has servers in Chicago, London, Amsterdam, Milan and Singapore.
Hey Dee Dee. I like hosting that isn’t too cheap, but at the same time doesn’t over charge you for the things that they offer you. I’m particularly interested in the Siteground Go Geek package. It seems to have the one thing that I find really important when it comes to selecting a hosing service. Space. 30 gigs for 14.95 seems great.
Yeah, it sounds great for sure. Cheap doesn’t always mean good (my previous hosting can attest to that). I’m happy to pay a little extra for the awesome quality of service that Siteground offers.
Hello Dee, I enjoyed the information you posted about Siteground. All of the topics you discussed are very meaningful when choosing a company. Customer service is important to me. It may be what makes or breaks my decision when choosing. I am confident that if I ever go this route, Siteground will be something I look into
Hi Kyle. It took me a while to make the decision to move, only coz I didn’t know how to go about it. But I’m so glad I did. Siteground were so helpful in doing absolutely everything for me and taking away that stress.
I’ve been looking for the right choice for a domain transfer for my online business. It sounds like Siteground has quite a bit to offer at a reasonable price. Out of curiosity, have you tried their different plans, and did you notice a difference in service quality between them? thanks!
Hi Penelope, I have three websites with Siteground and all are now Startup. I did start with GrowBig but found it really wasn’t needed. I’ve notived zero difference between them but I anticipate upgrading again soon.
